The part of the pottery process that @i_leeean n I had the most laughs in was definitely the clay smacking section.

This was where you smack your lump of clay as hard as you could onto the bench - to get the air bubbles out yes but really it was to get all the stressy vibes out :P

Super tiring but super fun and out came a sturdy personlised pan to last a lifetime (and a few extra arm muscles I never had before) 💪

In my most recent forging experience, when my arms turned jelly 🍮 and lifting the hammer with one hand felt impossible 🔨 having another person there to help hold my work piece so I could have two hands on the hammer meant the difference between me lying on the ground 😵and being able to complete the piece 👩‍🍳

Find your tribe, ask for help, have a whole lotta fun and laughs and good memories in the process 🤍

More and more these days Im seeing what it looks like when sacrificial love is chosen in response to heart wrenching situations. When the easy way would be to throw in the towel, call it a day and protect the already aching heart from further hurt.
